Didn’t pay much attention to anything other than the east stage evening this time out. Can confirm the sound was amazing pretty far back as well. FakeEmpire
Overall, a great 2nd weekend. We bought tix for The National & Nick Cave at full price (silly, I know) and won for the Disclosure day. Security told us that there were 18k on site for The National for but 40k for Disclosure and the difference was really noticeable. Sound on the Nick Cave day was actually pretty excellent across all artists and stages. I was dreading the chatty crowds during acts like Aldous Harding and Michael Kiwanuka but everyone was really respectful and attentive. They had definitely turned the sound down for a few acts on the Saturday - Koffee in particular was so quiet that we had to move around a few times to try and hear it properly. Mura Masa and Channel Tres suffered from very low sound levels as well. Nick Cave was really exceptional, possibly better than the Primavera set. Shoutout to Jehnny Beth as well who was brilliant in the tent.
