For the record most MoHo companies put their prices up around Glastonbury time.
This can either be a set fee for the duration or a daikly hike.
For insatnce, the MoHo company I'm using have added an extra £500 to the overall hire cost. Some will add an extra deposit charge instead...
Couple that with it being a the peak period for MH hiring costs and you could be spending upwards of £1500-2000 for a modern 4 berth MoHo.

YMMV, you can certainly find cheaper out there, McRent are quite good, we've hired from them before and had no issue.

We got a VW locally for £630 with the insurance which we thought was pretty good.

2019 we paid £1200 with the insurance for one with a bathroom in but we were on Bath & West so the bathroom was a bit of a waste for the extra money which is why we went for the VW this time.

£2,000 !! 😲

1. Buy cheap caravan

2. Enjoy Glastonbury

3. Sell cheap caravan for the price you paid... or as i did, use cheap caravan for about 5 Glastonbury's before upgrading to a newer one..

This is the right idea!

a) is the op still interested in this subject?

b) I've rented motorhomes and caravans in the past primarily as I didn't have the space to store one and tbh don't want or need to think/worry about it for a year - I just thought of it like holiday accommodation for a week.
