Agreed, Honeyglaze have been great whenever I've seen them (and they've been pretty ubiquitous in London in recent times). The first time was Anoushka playing their songs solo in the garden of the Victoria in one of the very first post-lockdown outdoor shows in the summer of 2020; the best was supporting Geese at the Sebright Arms, despite an issue with a cymbal mic. They really suit an early slot, with people respecting the moment. If they're on early at GM, they'll win a lot of new fans.
lessthanwill1
Tomorrow at 10am I reckon. Good to know re Honeyglaze. They would be nice early on at the Walled Garden. I’ve been listening to a a band called Kyoto Kyoto today - who I’m sure some here are familiar with - who sound pretty great and the sort of band that GM would be interested in. Seem like a Black Midi/King Gizzard hybrid.

SweepingTheNation
While we wait, I've been through the bulk of the official sites and gathered a few more self-confirmed days (for newcomers, we're assuming Beach House headline Friday, Kiwanuka Saturday and Kraftwerk Sunday): Thu: Metronomy, Yves Tumor Fri: Low, Mdou Moctar, Planningtorock, Modern Nature, Bess Atwell, Lucy Gooch Sat: Bicep, Arooj Aftab, Torres, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Willie J Healey Sun: Ty Segall If anyone's going to try and put together a prospective line-up, be aware that Orchestra Baobab, The Murder Capital and Indigo De Souza are elsewhere on Saturday, while Arab Strap and WITCH are likewise for Sunday.

Think we can add Cola to Saturday and Unschooling to Sunday as well. Re: the headliners I think Kiwanuka can’t be Friday as he is playing Lowlands that day. Kraftwerk can’t be Saturday due to APE. So could be: Beach House / Kiwanuka / Kraftwerk Kraftwerk / Kiwanuka / Beach House Kraftwerk / Beach House / Kiwanuka

Not as far as I can see, using the original graphic, the lineup page and Ctrl+F. Though they have moved a few names around.

lessthanwill1
At least the announcement has some surprises!! Not much for me to get excited about there sadly. But that just means less clashes to worry about as I was delighted with the initial announcement. I like Tune-Yards, Mary Lattimore, Nathan Fake (loved his after dark set in 2018), Honeyglaze and Art School Girlfriend.
lessthanwill1
Actually Carwyn Ellis & Rio18 + National Orchestra of Wales is a fantastic booking. Missed that initially. The album they did last year was really good and will go down a treat at a festival I think.
Dancers Stand Very Still
Quite underwhelming, but a few decent additions. I've heard good things about Mandrake Handshake, but not seen them yet. What's Rhodri Davies like solo? Seen him a few times as part of Hen Ogledd, but assume it's quite different! FloorFiller
The Long Blondes! I’m not going, but for anybody who is I implore you to listen to their album Someone to Drive You Home; full of proper mid 00’s indie pop bangers, a couple of which you might recognise. They’ll be a lot of fun.
