Another solo-goer, here.
In fact it will be my first time in the festival, so plenty of dubts!

Anybody with some experience around here?
1. I'm wondering about food; what are the options? Are there cheap restaurants in the village or festival site? Are they crowded? Should I bring my own food?
2. I've booked a so-called Quibi at one of the glamping providers. Any thoughs? What about temperatus early morning? I've realised temperatures can get quite high...

Any help will be very welcome!

@tb_hs let's talk if you wan't to meet :)

there are a small food market in the camping site and inside the festival site. the village also has good and cheap restaurants, and supermarkets.

the temperatures varies a lot, I dont think it will be very hot during the festival week, looking at the temperatures. but

at night it can get cold, so bring some warm clothes!

Thanks Banana, fingers crossed you are right regarding the heat.

I saw the difference between highest and lowest temperatures is massive. I will bring all types of clothes.

Any idea on who replaces King Gizzard? Maybe BC,NR.... it would fit their schedule

Canela Party (last week of August) has replaced them with Dinosaur Jr.

Seems like it's just a matter of time they are also confirmed here.

@gigi21 , have you always come to Portugal?

Sorry my friend in the end I choose Haldern Pop Festival + a small trip to Amsterdam. Unluckily there are no flights at all from South Italy to North Portugal in this moment so it would have been really complicated for me, but I hope some flight company will put them back soon 🤞
I followed the festival anyways, hope you enjoyed it.

I know I could but, from the town I live, it would mean an entire day travelling to reach PdC with camping stuff on my back and not even at cheap rates (flights to Lisbon were quite expensive this summer). I'll come one day! 😄
Luckily Haldern Pop has been very good too 🙂

Hi everyone, Im really thinking about going next year but I have a few questions, how is the campsite ? Can we bring our own alcohol on the campsite ? What are the prices of food and drinks on the festival ?

And more generally how is the festival ? Someone went this year ?

Thanks !

The camp is very good, there are people who have been camping for a week.
You can take whatever you want to the camp, it's really quiet.

Festival has a director who understands a lot about music and always brings good music, listens a lot to the fans of the festival and cares a lot about the well being of the fans.

It's a festival of good music, pure nature, peace and love.
