How to play at Glastonbury?

It is difficult - probably more so for a noisier punk band - but there’s some official info on the Emerging Talent Contest here: https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/emerging-talent-competition-performing/

I would think it is one of those things where you have to build up a rep and get a decent agent to get a look-in outside of that contest. Good luck though, the song is quality.

The short answer is, lots of people.

Not sure what stages you'd be targeting, but it's worth knowing that once you get beyond the biggest stages, pretty much every area or stage books it's own acts and operates independently of Glastonbury Festivals Limited.

So have a think about where you'd fit, and then many of those areas have their own social media pages, so can try asking for a contact via that route.

if the Earache mob are running a stage again (and i hope they are, cos its my favourite bit of the festival) then try and send them some info - im sure youre familiar with Earache records! they put some stuff on the Truth stage, and they have their own stage too - the timings were quite idiosyncratic last time, bands starting at 3 and 4am - its great for us night owls who dont like dance music . . . .
