Are we not allowed to like the Inhaler album?

Come on now, you've been around long enough to know that 4-piece rock music isn't allowed in these parts.

It was a toss up between them and Torres for my third place.

I mean I like the album, but the only reason it is that high on my list is because the rest of the month has been so mediocre for me. Like it probably won't gleam my AOTY list - if it had been released last month it wouldn't have even been in the conversation for my top of the month (Sault, Dacus, Tyler, King Gizz, Wolf Alice, Japenese Breakfast, Spellling etc.)

I was just joking with Matty. People can like what they want - and they do. My comment was at the end of the window too so not to influence voting (although I doubt it would've anyway).

They do sound just like Catfish and the Bottlemen though.

Fuck, can I change my vote...

TBF, there is always one generic indie landfill album that gets me going - last year it was the Vistas album and apparently this year it is Inhaler... At least I am consistent...

Ok guess I'll count them.

Just to say, some entries were discounted because of the rules but I don't think they'd have changed anything.

3rd place: Snapped Ankles - Forest of Your Problems

It's a great time to be alive for the psych goons in ghillie suits, completing the top three.

Tied 1st: Dave - We're All Alone In This Together

Voice of a generation and national hero Santan Dave triumphs with the follow-up to his unfollowupable debut, and takes a shared top spot.

Tied 1st: Inhaler - It Won't Always Be Like This

Bono's son and friends also release album. Some of you liked it and it is joint 1st.
