I think a lot of people are just tired of stuff being in limbo, ticket agencies holding on to cash, artists postponing and rescheduling at times they can't do. It's an extra layer of admin to keep on track of everything if you go out to stuff semi-regularly.

I'm willing to bet coming out of this winter period consumer confidence is going to be very low in terms of booking stuff in advance.
