Shouldn't we wait for Scotland and Wales too? 😂

Scotland's about to stop publishing covid data but for the exact opposite reason. Nicola doesn't want people to work out its now less deadly than flu and so have to give up her emergency powers. It could be a new normal in Scotland.

Okay so a lot of events require you to either be vaccinated or to have a negative covid test. With free testing coming to an end, what will happen?

Are events just going to ask you to be vaccinated, or will they soon start doing away with the covid entry requirements?

Rough trade east says theyll dump the requirement from next week. I suspect most other venues will follow suit

There's a bit in the big government document about this - they'll stop recommending it be used from 1st April, the same day free tests end. And the wording indicates the domestic covid pass will only be available after that for the sake of Scotland and Wales. If they both do drop it at the same time then my interpretation was that it'll be gone completely

Plenty to keep people occupied outside England. Already said we've got Sturgeon supressing data about covid to keep restrictions and over the pond Trudeau's taking over peoples bank accounts with emergency powers.

Hmmmm sturgeon is removing all restrictions from 21st March

"Even though certain measures, for example face coverings, may not be legal requirements in future, we will still recommend voluntary compliance as part of the range of behaviours that will help keep us safe as we manage COVID in a more sustainable and less restrictive way."

Pretty sure she is keeping tests and self isolation. Though after making different noises 2 days ago yes she suddenly seems to be falling in line with Boris. She spent most of yesterday complaining about money coming up from Westminster.
