Cool! It was in October wasn't it, to avoid the heat. 

I'm a bit of a marathon fan and I remember finding this cool video a while ago.

First Olympics I remember was 80 in Moscow, no USA, and we had Allen Wells, Coe, Ovett, Daley Thompson...and next one in LA and no USSR. Happy days.

It’s a great way to mark your journey through life!  I calculate I’ve lived through 17 so far! The BBC Tokyo 64 had a great theme tune

This was my 6th Olympics in my lifetime, however I was only a month old at the start of the Sydney games so I'd say ive seen 5 in living memory but I can vaguely remember Kelly Holmes winning gold in Athens. London 2012 will always be the best Olympics for me though, even if I am hugely biased

I vaguely remember watching Mexico 68 Olympics but got fully obsessed in 72 for Munich aged 12 even had a sticker book ! My dad had to take the plug off the tv to drag me out into the sunshine when we went to the local lido. There is a photo of me somewhere looking miserable looking at my sticker book whilst everyone else was running about and swimming 😂 Of course sadly that was also the year of terrorists killing  Israeli athletes 😢
