Given Simon tried to book Simz in 2019 and there was a number of rap/R&B affiliated acts this year there's no way it doesn't become a regular feature. Only question would be who could take that kind of spot - I know Simon was a fan of Slowthai's first album.

I'm seeing Slowthai in a small venue on Wednesday which should be absolutely nuts. I reckon he'd go down a storm at EOTR.

Could see someone like De La Soul or The Roots working well.

Run the Jewels are maybe too big?

Clipping and Sault are a definite yes from me. Surprised that Sault weren't at either Green Man or EOTR this year.

Given Sault have never officially revealed their membership I wouldn't be looking out for live dates.

Next question: as there'll almost certainly be one, who would/should next year's British headliner(s) be?

Would love it to be Four Tet, he was incredibly good at Green Man a couple of years ago.

Some bands further down the bill I'd like to see:

English Teacher, deathcrash, Sprints, Silverbacks, Gia Margaret, Heavy Lungs, Tara Clerkin Trio, For Breakfast, Dog Unit, Skullcrusher, Talk Show, Death & Vanilla, Dengue Dengue Dengue, King Hannah, Andrew Wasylyk, Maxine Funke, Mary Lattimore, Lightning Bug, afternoon bike ride, The Goalies Anxiety At The Penalty Kick, Treeboy & Arc, Erland Cooper, Lucy Gooch, Hannah Peel.

That should do it.
