Great surprise to see fleet foxes on the bill, especially as I’ve just gotten back into them as I’m doing a songwriting class led by robin which is awesome. Spending two years essentially claiming the lineup is so strong even Conor and co aren't headliners and then deciding that they are after all feels suspicious. We got ourselves into thinking Big Thief were playing even though there was no indication they were going to make a third visit this year. What's stranger is that Battles (and Hinds, Dead Meadow and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets) are over to play Manchester Psych Fest on the 3rd... Maybe Wet Leg are being saved for the second announcement? Unless they're in the US over the weekend it'd be strange for them to talk about their EOTR formation/credentials for a year and then not play when they have the best opportunity they'll likely ever have. They’ve sold out Alexandra Palace on their upcoming tour..
