He did. His average pace was over 14min/mile for much of the day, and he pulled it under by the end. Over such a distance, that represents a significant acceleration.

Of course I'll be back with more words, but just about to get some Golden Slumbers! I've had so little time last couple of days, I've barely had time to do anything apart from curate the playlist and like things, but I've followed this thread and it was a light in the many tough times, as were the Twitter comms, the donations and of course the smiling faces and hospitality in the final miles and tonight. You guys were instrumental in doing something that will make a difference. I may have been the pointy bit, but you guys were behind it.
