Football 2021/2022

I think some fans might actually take it to get rid of Benitez. Quite a statement in the press conference today and tried to blame the fans for him freezing out James: "In my experience coming to goodison, Everton always made it difficult for the opposition and worked hard as a team. This is what the fans want"

He could just say he doesn't rate him rather than the supporters want his brand of dire football. I really can't see this ending well.

Unless they’re in the Championship. In which case at least one of them gets promoted.

Same with West Brom and Fulham.

I’d actually forgotten how much fun the Championship was.

We have one year of dicking all over everyone followed by a year of getting dicked on.

Was talking about this with my Norwich supporting housemate. As much fun as it was winning last season, they're going to have an awful time now. You should be  get an option to stay in your league rather than get promoted.

Didn't Juve pay that for Ronaldo?

Yeah but, Ronaldo. They made half that back in the first weekend in shirt sales. And hes broken a load of Serie A and Juve records since. Most goals in a season, fastest ever to 50 goals etc.

100m for Lewandowski in todays market though, yeah I suppose. A goal machine and hes never injured.

They didn’t. One of the great myths about big name signings is that they make a tonne of money off of shirt sales.

Adidas on the other hand made a shit tonne…
