Definitely enjoying this year's albums by:

Black Country, New Roads

The Coral

Billy F Gibbons

Valerie June

Kings of Leon

Gary Numan

Black Keys

Squid

Steve Earle

Probably elicit ridicule, but the KoL album is my favourite. Most memorable gig so far (OK limited choice!) was BC,NR, apart from an intro before they started I'm sure they are the only band I've ever seen who spoke not one word to the audience.

Disappointed with previous 'album of the year' choices, Nick Cave & Lana Del Rey.

Much fun to be had in depth re-listening to full careers of King Crimson, Tina Turner, Blur, Super Furry Animals, Prince, Al Stewart, Gillian Welch, Gentle Giant etc

What are the odds that their ranked albums are in alphabetical order

Hadn't noticed that and was gonna call it lazy journalism but when I looked at the artical again it does actually say 'listed from A-Z'.... should have noted that in my original post.
