I'm no big Bob fan so I honestly don't know most of these songs, but for me right now it's It Ain't Me Babe.

That is a total classic in fairness. It's one of those "our songs" my partner and I have, along with Jackson (which may be our first dance 😄)

The last 30 years have been an extended purple patch really.  At least when his muse is functioning.  The standards covers albums are neither here nor there, but the run from Time Out of Mind through to Rough and Rowdy Ways is consistently strong.

His last clunker of original material is probably Under The Red Sky.

I’d agree with that, but I just can’t find it in my to love it. I admire it, I respect it, I’m sure it is of great worth, but that’s all theoretical. I just never get that urge to rush home and slap any of it on the turntable. Maybe that will come, I kind of hope so, but I can’t force myself to enjoy it

Off Time out of Mind: Tryin To Get To Heaven

Off Highway 61 Revisited: Desolation Row

Off John Wesley Harding: I Dreamed I Saw St Augustine

Off Blonde on Blonde: Visions Of Johanna

Off Freewheeling: Masters of War

Off Love & Theft: Mississippi

Off Blood on the Tracks: Lili, Rosemary & the Jack of Hearts

...ok I’ll shut up that’s way too much Dylan for any sane person...

Workingman's Blues #2 has to be up there.

An amazing little nod to Merle Haggard from Bob on this one, and a great track.... As my uncle used to say when I was a teenager.... Bob Dylan wrote over 500 songs at least half of them had to be alright. That was nearly 20 years ago, there’s many more since then the above included
