Think this is shame. Would have definitely gone if we werent already at a festival that weekend.

From memory don't think the original one sold that well so you wonder if they'll bother again...see, this is why we don't get the nice things in Birmingham

Sold awful, remember editors headlining to a sparse crowd.

For some reason west midlands don't do very well for this type of festival. Which is odd, as you would think its the ideal place.

The folk festival scene does really well(shrewsbury and mosely), but indie/rock doesn't.

Even the likes of wireless only lasted 1 year in Birmingham.

In fairness the Orbital and Leftfield day was both an epic dual booking and pretty full if I recall.

Yeah that really surprised me. Thought that day had a really strong line up and we had a brilliant time. Loads of people left after J&MC as well so looked even emptier for Editors (shame, they were brilliant)

Not surprised it's been cancelled. The line up was uninspiring, but I guess they thought it would sell due to people being starved of festivals and live music for so long. Sleaford Mods and Charlatans play a lot of gigs so there just wasn't a unique selling point there or a must see act.

2017 was a great event, Friday and Saturday were both well attended but Sunday was half empty. I remember on the Saturday night before Ocean Colour Scene came on they announced that people with a Saturday ticket could attend Sunday for a tenner. It didn't help.

I think the organisers will stick with Moseley Folk and Mostly Jazz from now on.
