Just curious are you trolling when voting for the Bluetones or are they actually your favourite act on the list?

I only know slight return and I don't have a strong opinion

I genuinely like them.

Are they my favourite out of all the acts? Probably not, but I’ve always had a soft spot for them. I don’t for a second think they’ll win it I’m just happy to keep them in as long as I can.

Oh I dunno. Someone much cooler and worthier I’d imagine.

Ash!?! Think I would've been at the other stage that night. Was listening to Slight Return t'other night and I'd forgotten how much I use to like it. Might get on the blutones train when I've got Portishead to 200.

Slight Return, If, Solomon Bites The Worm, Bluetonic, Autophilia...

They were at the better end of the Britpop spectrum.

The sleeve alone to last chance saloon made it a must buy IMO though I did lose interest after that. They do however always visit sheffield when they tour which most don't so decision made... bluetones train joined.

I’d love to see them show up somewhere on the Farm, early door on the Other for instance, for a hour’s blast through the hits.

I think avalon or accoustic might be more likely but I'd definitely bob along... most likely on my own though as not sure I'd be able to convince others even in this hypothetical world.

I don't remember much else by them, but I always liked If. Was a good tune that got quite a lot of airplay on the music tv channels back in the day
