Don't think I had to enter a code, just clicked on the email link and it started on the laptop.

That worked with me when I first tried it at about 6pm, but when I went back to it I was promoted for the code which is when this error malarkey started

Well, you've all missed the Wolf Alice set. What an absolute shambles that this hasn't worked as it should. Really bad look for the festival and it's not really their fault.

I bet they’re fucking furious at this driift company

I'm an O2 customer . Bought a ticket direct from o2 site at 6:50.  No sign of my £4 discount although advertiised so paid the full £20. Got an email with the code and its invalid. Fearing that Matt Hancock is al over the organisation of this.

Apparently Emily has tweeted that if you get the invalid code notification, and missed the start of this live (not live) stream, then authenticated stream purchasers will be given a preferential presale link to Glastonbury 2023 tickets.

Nope, not me either.

My guess is the provider they went with has woefully underestimated demand or similar.. https://inplayer.com/

In developer tools I'm seeing messages like "There is no default Paywall for the current merchant" and something else about permissions/privileges.

I think the stream can handle the demand, but the authentication/ticket checking system (before it lets you onto the stream) is the bit that's falling over from all the demand.

Maybe a load of security keys haven't been put into the DB yet, maybe the later ones e.g. like those bought today...?

Or their streaming works but the auth server / service can't cope...
