Ayrshire Chris
a wander up to the Tollpuddle tree and union castle. First time I’ve been here when it’s deserted! Usually full of folk escaping the sun! 2

Ha, we really liked meeting him at WP a couple weeks back - we were literally second in the queue as we thought that would happen! Wandered back to William’s Green like 90 mins later for some food and the queue was still going! And - on the iPhone live picture of our selfie, ME says “lovely job - lovely!” - made my day to hear that!

stuartbert two hats
In case you miss it, there's some art up in the trees along the railway track, somewhere near the permaculture and where you'd turn off towards the Healing Fields. Yes saw it. Very thought provoking and clever the way the living trees go through the pictures

Larraht
We have just got back from the best few days! Worthy Farm was like a little slice of Glastonbury which was well welcome after not being there the last few years! Highlights included: - Joint charities field was great for all age children. - Walking around the site and working out where we were and being surprised at how small everything looks without the festival going on. - Goose Hall was a great addition. - Yoga in the Spike Bar in the morning felt special. - Meeting Micheal and getting my book signed. He was meant to be there from 4.30-5pm yesterday and the queue was moving at a snails pace. By 6pm we still hadn't quite reached the front and he was still meeting people. Once inside it was clear why things were taking so long. Micheal chatted our ears off... Wanted to know where we were from, introduce our kids and he was just lovely. - Painting a bin with my kids felt like an iconic Glastonbury moment. - Everyone was as friendly as ever - people wanted to chat and kids went off to play together. It was pretty magic. - The huge, beautiful, full moon and clear night sky on our last night. My only criticisms would be that all the kids activities that you pay a donation for were booked up immediately and the ones you pay more for didn't seem worth it (£8 for making a willow lantern for example) and the food choices were pretty average although we mostly had a bbq daily so didn't effect us. Overall, totally glad that we went! Lots of memories made and just can't wait to get back now!

Simsy
A great weekend. A bit more "family friendly" than my normal holidays (not like I'm out raving all night, I just usually try to avoid screaming kids) but it was nice to see the site outside of the festival.

Pinhead
Having trouble pinpointing where the orchard is. Can anyone indicate / map? Maybe East end of railway line?

Yep T&C, there is another field round the back of it as well called the hidden orchard, can get to that via a path by the entrance to the orchard (As well as along the orchard), during the festival all lit up with lights. Part way along the Orchard if you turn right that takes you to west holts crew camping, although changes a bit last time and ,you can get out by ICON now I camp in Plumley's Edited August 25, 2021 by fred quimby
