I was surprised how quiet it was at the pyramid at night, me and my girlfriend had our camping chairs out sat under it looking out at the field, was kicking myself for leaving the engagement ring in the car that night

Yeah, it was Saturday night headliner time and virtually no one was there.

Tremendous atmospheric photos. Great to know how accessible the pyramid skeleton is.

What I want to know is whether anyone has tried to climb it. I’ll soon be there with a very ambitious 10-month-old who is sure to give it a go 😂

Just popped out for a pint and it was brilliant. Cowering in the rain, with a crowd of other peopl drinking from a paper cup. There was even music* playing in the background and some group singing**!

Chatting to randoms about past headliners and weather conditions at past festivals. Proper glastobation all round. Brilliant!

*Quietly

*Half heartedly

So if you're staying this weekend, it could arrive in a few minutes.

Ta!  Full Glasto kit packed in preparation for all weathers with a few luxuries such as quilted sleeping bags. added

incredibly just as I’m typing this an e Mail alert from them has arrived.  !

One word of warning - I was wearing boots that survived 2016 (Or a fresh pair of the same kind, can't remember).  I've happily waded through puddles with no ill effects, but they ended up soaked at Worthy Pastures.  How?  DEW!

Wandering around the long grass of Kings Meadow late at night deposited drips of water down into my boots, rendering them unusable for the rest of the festival.  I probably should have packed a pair or two of these, but didn't think I'd need to given the weather report and my previously reliable boots.
