I just noticed Julien Baker is playing the very last date of her Euro tour tomorrow at Sala Apolo through Primavera Tours. I wouldn't be surprised if she stays in town for a few extra days...

Maybe she's replacing Girl in Red?

That’s interesting to know. I fly from Birmingham on Wednesday lunchtime. I’m only travelling from Wolverhampton, but looks like I’ll need to head to the airport earlier than planned. Thanks for the info.

No worries dude, I'm in the same boat as you, flying from Brum tomorrow morning. I'm from very local, so have been keeping up to date with the carnage on social media accidentally. The 4 hour from a few weeks ago put a flash through me, so I've been checking up actively since, it's defo not as bad now.

What's everyone's weekends looking like?

Hope you just accidentally typed your days wrong and haven't booked the wrong flights/hotels 😅

Wednesday:
Linda Lindas > Wet Leg > Teto Preto > Rina Sawayama

Thursday:
Faye Webster > Dinosaur Jr > Charli XCX > Tame Impala > Pavement > DJ Shadow

Friday:
Low > Autechre > Beck > National > Strokes > Cairbou

Saturday:
Mavis Staples > Jawbox > Nick Cave > Gorillaz > Tyler > Disclosure

Sunday:
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

And bits of other bands in between where we can. Headliners eat up most of my time but the only one I've seen before is The Strokes which is why PS22 is so huge for me.

Mines:

Friday:

Faye Webster > Les Savy Fav > Dinosaur Jr > Gustaf > The Armed > VTSS Live > 100 Gecs > Black Lips > Black Midi > DJ Shadow > Myd Live

Saturday:

Low > Autechre > Evian Christ > Parquet Courts > Kenny Beats > Earl Sweatshirt> King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard > Caribou > Jeff Mills

Sunday:

Porridge Radio> Rapsody > Dreamcatcher > Slowthai > Bauhaus > Gorillaz > Tyler, the Creator > Disclosure > Leon Vynehall

You mixed up week days but no problem.

This is my dream, not going to make it all obviously

Thursday

Lingua Ignota > Kim Gordon > Les Savy Fav > Dinosaur Jr > Sharon Von Etten > The Armed > Rina? > Pavement > Black Midi > Dj Shadow > Myd or Honey Dijon

Friday

Beach Bunny > Low > Autechre (or Helado Negro) > Fountaines DC > Little Simz into Parquet Courts > Warpaint > Bikini Kill > The strokes > Caribou or Lightning Bolt > Young Marco or Jeff Mills

Saturday

The Caretaker > Les Amazones D'Afrique > Mavis Staples > Jawbox > Nick Cave > Gorrilaz or Diiv > Beach House into Shame > Boy Harsher / Terrence dixon/disclosure > Leon Vynhall or Ben UFO.

The dj sets can be anything, real pity DJ Harvey isn't closing down though

You're in for a treat if you get in for gizzy on sunday. Les Savy Fav in a small venue is absolute balls.

With the obvious caveat that much is subject to change and I won't make it all...

Wednesday: KOKOKO! if we make it over there

Thursday: Lingua Ignota > Kim Gordon > Les Savy Fav > The Linda Lindas/Dinosaur Jr > then a bit of a gap but might see some or all of any of Yo La Tengo, The Armed, 100 gecs and Pavement depending on mood! > DJ Shadow > Honey Dijon if by some miracle I'm still standing...

Friday: Low > Autechre > Wet Leg/Fontaines DC > Shellac/Little Simz > The National > Bikini Kill > Caribou (quite a lot of half-sets in the middle of this one because of clashes so will see how I go! Have just realised Bikini Kill and The National clash, but I am seeing BK in London very soon...)

Saturday: The Caretaker > Jenny Hval/Porridge Radio > Einsturzende Neubauten > Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds > Bauhaus/Napalm Death /Gorillaz >Squarepusher

Monday: Magnetic Fields (and probably Hidrogenesse to ensure we get in)

Pretty packed.

Yeah got email from Ryanair to say get there 3 hours before the flight . My flight is 6.20 am

Bit annoying that they've told us that but won't open bag drop til 2 hours before. I'll be there early either way, think I'll be stressed til I land in Barcelona 😆

I'm tired just reading this. 😂

You're gonna have an amazing time if you manage even half of this.

This fest is so stacked. Enjoy!!

Always surprises me how many people aren't seeing Tame Impala. Then again it's my first time so maybe I'm just incredibly late to the party and the party ended years ago

I mean, they are fun but the newest Album just does nothing to me. Wish they'd weave in more Innerspeaker.

Don't think this is a Brexit problem. At Schiphol it's more to do with personnel shortages, and I'd imagine similar elsewhere.

This is it - it's the same issues facing hospitality and some other sectors. A lot of people were let go during Covid and never came back to those sectors.

Lots of EU countries reporting same - ireland, Netherlands etc, so not a brexit issue (for once!)

I don't know, here in Portugal it's really quick to get through when you land in the EU passport clearance line, it was a 5 hour wait for the outside of EU line the other day

I don't know much about them but what I've heard has never really grabbed me. I'm sure they'll be very popular with the festival attendees more broadly.
