I've just had a PTSD flashback to that video game reveal they did in 2015 where you had to kill enemies to find out the information.

Boy, oh boy...

Nothing compares to them releasing the horarios via Lotus social media queries. That was hell.

Funny, Im in the opinion that W1 is literally the best lineup I've seen in my life while W2 is quite mediocre and I would've 100% skipped this year if this was the lineup. Different taste I guess

Had both of W1 & W2 ticket. Agree that W1 (in my opinion) has better lineup, but I think W2 is far from mediocre (different taste for sure). Really eager to see YYY, MIA, RTJ, JAMC, The Smile, Jessie Ware.. while the undercard filled with a lot of eclectic & interesting acts that I never heard and watch before such as The Weather Station, Oranssi Pazuzu, Remi Wolf

I quite liked that one. But that was just the line up right? Anyways, I've been home sick with a heavy sinusitus (that should be gone by WE1) and have been doing nothing much more than checking this forum & checking out the bands since yesterday. To a point where I'm getting a headache again from looking at a screen. So here I am contemplating going for a coffee, reading a book over there and probably missing out on the horarios reveal.

Slightly off the topic of set times but a question for those who’ve been before. What’s the vibe like when going to sets on your own?
I’ve felt totally fine going solo for certain acts (eg at Glastonbury) if my friends are wanting to see something else but just wondering if it’s a similar feeling at primavera. Cheers

Our group splits up plenty of times and it felt pretty easy going, bit easier than glastonbury for me actually

If you are comfortable with it then it's absolutely fine. Saw SOPHIE and Tierra Whack (both at the Lotus stage on the bits side of the festival) solo last time around and actually it was really nice to chill on the beach for a bit and replenish my socialising stamina 😅

Good job at guessing that I was The National Stan, and she the Parquet Courts Queen 😉

I enjoy PC a lot, but I've seen them twice before and The National are the best live act I've ever seen (plus, one of my favourite bands of all time). It's a right dilemma

Could you not watch different acts on this one occasion? Definitely what I would do! I quite like watching acts on my own sometimes, though.

I suggested this, cause I have absolutely no issue going to gigs on my own, by the gf is, perhaps understandably, a little concerned about going off on her ones to mingle in a crowd. Who knows, could change tho?!

But I mean... you don't even know if they clash, do you? 😄

Ah man that sounds lush.

I was just worried it might’ve been a bit like some non camping Uk festivals where’s it’s pretty much all groups of people. Though I guess most of them are day fests so it’s a different feel

When it comes to Prima I always know a ton of people going but I am normally on my own. Such an amazing lineup, I like to dart around and make sure I see what I want to see. You'll feel absolutely at home on your own.

I found that quite funny actually. It was an interesting way to incorporate a sponsor and at least it meant some form of announcement of the announcement.
If theyd said friday i would've been fine, but just not communicating at all, is annoying. We're flying in in less than two weeks and I need some planning for it.

They've said 'two weeks before' and two weeks before is today.

Is ambiguous but I read this tweet as they are about to publish them.

What keeps them from a proper communication though?

I agree that Primavera is very well organized - once you're there. But this years communication has been even worse than any year before. Espeically concerning tickets and cancellations.

It's common for festivals not to pre-announce when timetables are coming.

In fact I'd say it's the norm.

And if they post the date on their website, they are then beholden to it when it might be an advantage to delay for unforeseen circumstances e.g. multiple cancellations on one day.

Honestly, I cannot ever remember going to a festival where they didn't announce couple days prior, when they'd realease the timetable.

Apparently not going to be released until next week now. Same source as the person who told me they'd re-done the scheduling a few weeks ago and shit hit the fan behind the scenes. So maybe hold off that F5.

Fuck me, one week from the event starting is absolutely savage.
