Are we confident we‘ll see the lineups for both weekends on Tuesday? Or just for the first one?

Desert Daze have also been making some Portishead type noises.

I think it's about 50/50 they'll be there.

If they're going to sell 100% more tickets than usual they're going to have to come up with some names that cause a buzz.

In another news, there's a primavera sound press conference today, and apparently the Barcelona mayor will be there. Perhaps we will get some news about the two weekends thing? Hoping we have some Catalan/Spanish speakers onboard to translate.

They are saying the line-up is going to be released next Tuesday. However, it might be just one line-up for one weekend with the artists announced for 2020/2021 editions and they might start selling the tickets for the second weekend with line-up announcement in January 2022 (in the "regular" regime). But I am quite confident (maybe for no reason) that we are getting a poster for both weekends next Tuesday.

They said we would 'have to choose' which implies getting the announcement for both before tickets go on sale.

Seems more likely it will be one turbocharged poster with names set out clearly of who is only doing one weekend. Doing two posters risks each one looking weaker...

Says we will be hearing about the new format of the festival in 2022 and their "actions of social responsibility". Going by the vid title, "Primavera Sound als districtes", they'll be doing some stuff in different parts of the city.

Two weekends confirmed, 11 days of music. Thurday, Friday & Saturday the main days, more than 500 concerts

A lot of foreigners fly in and don't see much/anything of the town or the costa brava (most great places are only an hour or so away).

It's an ideal opportunity to do 2 x Thurs-Sat and then go explore in the middle part.

Id assume prominent is referring to some of the headliners? Id be absolutely devastated if they had manage to book both The Strokes and Pavement to return but then had them on separate weekends...
