Four day silver camping ticket but only want to go for three days (Friday to Sunday)

So me and my friend both have three day silver camping tickets and my other friend that is coming has a four day silver camping ticket.

Obviously, he doesn't want to have to go on his own on the Thursday and set up camp on his own so we were wondering if it is possible that he could arrive on the Friday instead of he Thursday with us? 

Would be grateful if anyone could give me any insight on this/has previous experience with this.
