Christ, watching the live news is just painful, it's just one loyalist automaton after another spewing on and on from the same old script, so boring. But does give a very different impression from the speculation online. Who to believe.

It's not been a landslide against Johnson then as the result would have been before 9 for that apparently. Fingers firmly crossed for anything about 100.

why would be earlier if a landslide for Johnson, vote counting takes same amount of time no matter what the vote? Or maybe so close needs a recount??

It wouldn't have been before 9 anyway, they announced the result would be at 9. It won't be a landslide against him but it never was going to be.

what annoys me is how they go on about how wonderful he was getting brexit done...which involved proroguing parliament which the courts found unlawful and then bulshitting about the NI protocol to win the tories the election and to get it through parliament.

But then I'm a remainer so I would say that.

Because they'd have exploded into panic that he'd have lost. That's what some political analyst on the radio was saying this morning (can't remember who), but added that Johnson is not exactly the quick resigning type.

Also really easy to count if there's no votes in the support box...

I look forward to the mental gymnastics Tory MPs will be going through to claim whatever happens is a good result for Johnson.

Unfortunately just a continuation of the bollox that's been flowing from their mouths for what seems like an eternity now.

Bloody hell, read below too quick and thought it said "he's won vote big"!!
