thing is...labour need Johnson to stay where he is?

I'm just wary of keeping someone bad in power in the hope that they'll go on to lose an election. That's like the Dems in 2016 boosting trump because they thought he'd be easier to beat in an election: weird things happen in an election! I'll go with Boris being humiliated today and take chances with another tory leader at the next election

It’s best for the country to get a lying, corrupt, borderline fascists out of No 10. The earlier we do it the sooner Labour can show up the new PM as well.

This is so disingenuous, it's insulting. She is wrong on so many levels, she knows she's wrong but she hopes that the public don't know enough about our own politics to be fooled by it.

Curiously, if BoJo goes today, his time as PM will be exactly one day shorter than Gordon Brown's.

Nadine is no different to most politicians. She is looking after herself and knows once Boris is out she is straight to the backbenchers. In reality she is no different to the likes of Burgon and Long Bailey with Corbyn.

thing is...who replaces him? Whoever takes over will likely enjoy a honeymoon period which may well take them into the next election, and most tory MPs and members are right wing brexitheads these days so we'll likely get some dicksplash like Truss.

Or you could end up with someone like Hunt who is trying to frame himself as the nice , moderate Tory. However we all remember what he was like as health secretary.

That’s why it needs to be done as soon as possible.
