Your most controversial music opinions

Wonder what Old Man Mumford makes of his pesky son’s fascism shenanigans? Given it’s all over the music press I’m surprised none of the others sought to distance themselves.

Edit: looks like Adolf Mumford has deleted the Tweet in question. It’s a shame as there were some great replies, including (and it’s quite rare for me to quote them) Sleaford Mods:

“You are minted, you thick c**t. Step outside of ya bloodline for two minutes and use your fuckin loaf”

Don't think this is massively controversial on this board, but Mumford & Sons, Bastille, and the other 'posh boys playing folk' are some of the worst things to ever happen to music and need to be fired into the heart of the sun.

Feeling very validated for this take tbqh

Prayers up today for Billy Banjo on this difficult morning - International Women's Day and *that woman* doing down our great Royal Family. God save the Queen.

If Richard Herring isn't tweeting everyone to tell them when Interested Men's Day is then is it really International Women's Day? So easy to forget the true meaning of a holiday.

Album interludes are pointless and offer nothing to the listening experience.

In most cases they actually make the album worse.

See also: reprises of songs.

Be Here Now bored everyone with 9 minutes of All Around the World... who the fuck thought it was a good idea to slap another two minutes of it on at the very end of the album?!?

Apart from the Sgt Pepper reprise which is miles better than the main song.

Yes I'm looking at you Stone Roses. Should have realised they were out of ideas as soon as Don't Stop started playing, would have saved everyone a lot of time and money.
