Phish and the grateful dead. They’re jam bands right?

Aha. Yeah on that note grateful dead are pants, casey Jones bla bla something cocaine- a decent song, the rest is pitiful. Astonishing that people followed them round the country (the united states one) for gig after gig. Although drugs to be fair

Being boiled is the best thing the Human League recorded.  Everything after is ok, I guess, but never reached that height again.

Dare is a great album and no idea why only don't you want me is ever played.

Reproduction is also a great album with the best version of being boiled

Haha enjoying the progression here so a bit more lighter fluid: Blur are turd. Song 2 is their only good song.

I don’t feel as strongly as this about them but I do think most Blur albums are average at best. It’s been a few years since I last listened to them but Parklife isn’t very good at all. Think Tank is one of their better albums though.

I like them on record but I don’t think Chemical Brothers are a very exciting live act. I thought their 2015 Other stage set was alright but found them a bit boring at NOS Alive in 2019. Certainly don’t enjoy them live as much as many others on here seem too.

Yeezus is Kanye West’s best album by some distance. While his Pyramid set definitely dipped in the middle, the start and end were strong enough that I still think it was a good headline set.

Arctic Monkeys first two albums are their worst. My favourite changes quite often but Humbug, Suck It and See and Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino are their best three.

The first four Coldplay albums are great and A Rush of Blood to the Head is one of the best albums of the 2000s.

I was absolutely pinging my nut off watching Kanye, so I had a great time, but objectively it was fairly poor. It started out unbelievably strong but lost all momentum when he did like half an hour of bad auto tune material in the middle and never properly got going again

He's right

(Suck it and see is their best album, AM is actually their worst so half right I guess)

Pet Shop Boys are one of the all time greats. Up there with the Beatles. Fight me people!

This is clearly insane. PSB are so shockingly shit it makes me physically shake with anger that anyone, ANYONE, can find a semblance of enjoyment in their excretion laden output.

Once the novelty factor wears off both Folklore and Evermore are distinctly average records (albeit with some high points on each).

Have to agree with this, tried to love both albums, but ending up feeling that there was one good album fighting for it’s life amongst a pile of fillers.

I love that music streaming services give the ability to listen to virtually any music from any era, but I feel that it allows artists to release albums based on a couple of decent tracks and a pile of fillers. It might be a romantic view but I feel albums used to be a more complete experience in terms of a theme and structure to the album, now you put the strongest tracks up front on the basis that no one is still listening by the end.
