Don't think this is massively controversial on this board, but Mumford & Sons, Bastille, and the other 'posh boys playing folk' are some of the worst things to ever happen to music and need to be fired into the heart of the sun.

Even less controversial, but for the record the actual only thing worse than Mumfords/etc. is bro country.

People who say the Stone are better than The Beatles either haven't listened beyond the contents of the '1' album or are just being willfully obtuse.

You can adore The Beatles' consistency, breadth and depth whilst still preferring to fuck with the slew of unstoppable belters that Stone and the lads produced, particularly between Beggars Banquet and Exile.

Bob Dylan is way overrated!

I can appreciate he has written some great songs but...

His singing is shite.

his harmonica playing is even worse.

He hasn’t altered his approach to songwriting since the mid sixties, relying on simple chord progressions, predictable melodies and basic structures.

He has never acknowledged any musical developments either in style or technology since the sixties.

His live shows are often drab despite him touring nonstop.
