They'll probably end up as lunches, so no chips, but obviously this would be an option. They will of course be accompanied by brown sauce.

I always heard the stories from people who worked there. but going past every morning on the way to college the smell was immense.

My local bakers do most fillings in either pie, short crust pastry pastie or flaky pastry pastie. Its an ongoing argument with family and friends as to which is the best. Obviously I am right and the flaky pastry pastie wins every time
