Anderson P for the sunday @ glasto then ?

I'd guess it's maybe more likely Andy P and Thundercat post up on Friday.

I put Paak either 5th/6th Pyramid or 3rd/4th Other. Thundercat will sub WH.

I think Anderson Paak was Friday last year, at least the Free Nationals were in one of the Silver Hayes Spotify playlists as playing there on Friday so it would make sense for both to have played on the same day. Obviously we know some acts have changed days already though if they’re back, so that might not necessarily be the same next year.

Don't think will happen but Kaleo could play on Saturday as he would be in London on Friday...

Some acts do play as part of three days in a row. I remember Ellie Goulding in 2014 or something was country hopping like mad. She had shows the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday including Glastonbury Sunday - each one of these shows was in a different country.

I think it’s usually the bigger acts / ones with stage shows that have breaks between their gigs.

Interesting development.

Mad Cool will be adding an extra day (Monday) to accommodate an extra headliner on the lineup. Wonder who it could be? Could it be some last minute dates for Kendrick Lamar?

The talk in the Mad Cool thread seems to be Bruce Springsteen, which would be great news if it means he’s touring next summer.

I think it’s a red herring - the email is to your boss to ask for Monday off because they are staging an extra date. Not that they are announcing the boss.

a red herring lol

You think mad cool would intentionally make their punters think Bruce Springsteen will be playing when he isn't?

I suppose everyone would then be really surprised when they announce Deacon Blue are actually headlining

No it’s just people reading too much into the word boss. They’ve added an extra day so people have to take extra holiday.

Yeah they’d really lose their dignity if they announced them instead.

It’s Sunday they’re adding not Monday, it’s usually wed-sat

Billy Idol has shows on Fri and Sun in Germany. Not ruled out but would be very unexpected.

Ah, I hadn't realised that.

I'm very inconsistent to be honest, not got Green Day on as they are hugely unlikely but have left others in. I'll remove Idol in the next update.

I mean the people around are extremely strong and there will be more on the list.

Not everyone who was around in 2020 who is touring next year will be back though. It can’t be possible for everyone to return.

You also wouldn't want everyone booked in 2020 to return. Music moves on at a pace and there's loads of acts around now I'd love to see who weren't big enough when they were booked in 2019.

Underworld are teasing something on their Instagram page. Could be a new album but the fact that the clip is of Rick playing the hook from Dark and Long would suggest tour dates. Which I for one would be jazzed about

Fine by me. I had tickets for the tour they were going to do. If its the same format which was going to be an extended set that would be cool.

I just want the best possible line up. Not really fussed whether they were booked for 2020 or not.
