QOTSA are one of my favourite bands but I can't say I'll be too disappointed if they've pulled out. Them headlining the Other stage would be excellent but given everything going on with Josh Homme at the moment, I think taking time to sort everything out seems more sensible. I'd feel a bit strange seeing them at the moment as well given all the allegations. 

Yep they did. 

Mike Skinner has a residency at XOYO starting soon so it could be in part due to that.

Well they did cancel their tour but not their festival dates. Still down for Kendall Calling too

Ah I didn't realise that. 

Maybe that's the reason then, couldn't reschedule the tour because of MS's commitment to XOYO but as that'll finish in time for festival season there be may Streets dates later in the year.

One of Wolf Alice or Royal Blood seem like the obvious contenders to replace QOTSA. My ideal replacement would be Jack White, but I think if he were booked then Pyramid sub would be where he’d end up again.

I'd imagine there would be a fairly strong crossover in terms of fans for Billie and Sam Fender.

Obviously that doesn't mean it won't happen, but potentially something they would consider.

Also weird no Thundercat on there since he's supporting RHCP on every date on their tour. Hopefully that deviation works in the other direction as well and we get him at Glasto.

Considering what theyre going to do it might increase that likelihood but theyre a pretty in demand act now from the look of it.

I disagree with this. He’s big right now but he’s not at that level yet where he would be a threat to a headliner on the bill.

He’s hinted before that Harry has an Irish date to come. He probably doesn’t realise that Ireland and the UK are in the same time zone.
