Doubt that is really a thing.

Even if it was, I don’t think Michael is involved at that level anymore and it would have been a different team booking him anyway.

Separate from the main weekend tickets though, sounds about right to me. Reminds me of say Citadel and Lovebox or the gigs they do near TRNSMT weekend

They're playing Madrid for sure by the looks of that thread. Whether it's Mad Cool or not remains to be seen.

Bollocks to both, tbh. RHCP became a stadium headliner in the time since and Glastonbury pays shit so it has never been an option for them. And there’s been one festival since Paloma Faith pulled out of Glastonbury Abbey so too early with that.

On the other hand, he’s had falling outs with a bunch of artists who have returned - chiefly The Fall who were legitimately banned from the festival - and countless acts who pulled out at the last minute have returned in some form.

Zegut reckons Bruuuuuuuuce is playing Stade de France next June. That’s on top of a rumour of Olimpico in July and a couple of nights at Croker iirc.

No realistic bearing on Glastonbury as Macca is locked and loaded but… Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuce.

Didn’t someone say that RHCP have begged to play before and the festival isn’t bothered? Not sure on that.

Red Hot Chili Peppers approached the festival once asking to play for free, but the festival already had all headliners in place so they were rejected. The story is often distorted into 'Michael Eavis EPIC SHUTDOWN REVENGE' on these boards.
