I suppose it's the order for which he got his fame. I don't know which outlet did it but one of them called him a flawed genius and didn't even mention the murder in the headline and it caused a stir on Twitter.

Yeah that’s my take too. Murderer and musician would be Charles Manson - this wouldn’t be news if Phil Spector wasn’t a renowned producer beforehand. But big yikes to any outlet neglecting the mention of him being a murderer at all.
