It's been on my playlist for the last few days and I haven't noticed it. Could just be that it's always timed when I've been on calls or it may just not be for me.

On this: I was pretty deflated by the four pre-release songs from this album as they were all fairly wishy washy and very similar in sound, and the rest of the songs here rarely deviate from that formula at all, and yet this is has proven to be a really nice listen. All the already heard songs work much better as a full album, and I’ve played it three times over now due to enjoying it so much.

I'm quite liking this as an album, even though no tracks really standout to me. Can see myself going back to an album a fair bit but not really ever visiting the tracks on an individual basis. Seems like the perfect album to own on vinyl tbh.

Just wanna say as well I can't get enough of that new Black Midi tune and video. Was always a bit baffled why so many people round here gave up on them after the album came out (although do understand why people didn't like them in the first place).

It's pretty nice easy listening and very cohesive as an album.

I'm not sure watching an hour long video of a couple frolicking around their expensive house is the best thing for me to watch whilst single and unemployed in a covid lockdown though.

Wow. There is a lot to digest there, I particularly like this bit:

Just gave Lucio Starts Fires a listen for the first time in at least a decade. No idea why they were so hyped, it sounds exactly the same as every other landfill indie tune from that era.

I saw JJJJJJJJ at Mancheser arena and they were w*nk. I've seen Toy a few times since though and I rate them so it was probably a case of being a jing jang jong holding some of them back (c'mon, we've all been there).
