Gnomicide
Good new one from The Mysterines, very much looking forward to the album later in the year.
priest17
Do you like big riffs and even bigger more riffs? Well I might be overselling the riffs on this album but it's still a good rock album, I continue to quite like DZ Deathrays

Well it's good anyway take my word for it. Shades of LCD Soundsystem and Parquet Courts in parts*. *As ever, take my comparisons with a pinch of salt Not heard of them before but that was a great listen! Haan
Needledrop has given the new Spellling album, the turning wheel a 10. Listening now, huge kate bush vibes, very lush instrumentation.

They've done an NERD cover a couple of weeks ago that's as not cringe as you could possibly hope for (so still quite)

These guys always did my head in but been a big fan of Amy's features over the last 8 months and can't stop coming back to this so probably need to give them another go. This is real good though. priest17
AlCam has dropped a couple of covers celebrating Barry Gibb. Not gonna pretend I particularly love either of the originals, guess this is a decent indication of where he's goin? Organ on island in the stream sounds peng. CaledonianGonzo
OK. The Spellling album is worth buying for the opening 3 tracks alone.

You needed a spoiler alert, I am halfway through the second track, but very impressed with what I have heard.
Cherry Tree
Okay now six tracks in, this is a proper old style album, each track stands on it’s own but the there is a feeling of a connection between each track. Thanks for highlighting this album.

Now at track 9, definitely a more electro pop feel, going from Kate Bush 80s orchestral feel to some of the more avant garde 80s electro pop, showing my age but a bit of The Associates meets Blue Nile. Baggins7
I know there’s a few Spector fans on this forum and they’ve dropped a new tune today, co-written with Jack Kaye of The Magic Gang

Gnomicide
Just heard a clip of the new Shaun Ryder song. Sounds like something a 12 year old would knock out on their computer and use as the background music on a YouTube video of them and their mates being wacky. FloorFiller
Blood Orange appearing on a Turnstile track isn’t something I could’ve ever called, but here we are. Not at all what I was expecting from them either but seems they’re changing things up a bit for the new album. Looking forward to it:
