New acoustic album from Red Rum Club out today.

Nothing Earth shattering, almost all just acoustic versions of previous stuff with no changes to time signatures etc. apart from Holy Horses which has a nice swing beat to it.

Anyway, it's ace but not going to win over new fans.

Instrumental version of the For Those I Love record out today. Doesn't really appeal to me as the lyrics are so intrinsic to the record but nice nevertheless.

Just discovered these guys courtesy of Twitter. Debut album out today, and it's really rather good. More solid guitar indie / post punk type stuff. Fans of Beach Bunny, Martha, Fightmilk and The Beths.

Enjoyed Royal Blood much more than I expected given how lukewarm I was towards their last album and Trouble's Coming. It's a decent ol' record. Definitely keeps them in Pyramid sub contention I'd imagine.
