It's odd that it's taking this long to announce a decision. Tickets are still on sale so no sign yet of it been cancelled

It's one of those where I'm trying not to get hopes up whilst also thinking - "well, wouldn't they have just cancelled if it wasn't going ahead by now?!"

One of the hold ups could be that some acts have pulled out and there's now a scramble on to get those replaced

Im talking it that no news is good news, I feel like they must be working on/towards something other wise they’d have let us know about cancelling by now, with it being 4 weeks away i can only think they’d have pulled the plug already

Not that I believe government briefings or that they'll really reopen at such a high case level (by then) but if this is true then y not may have held on long enough. They'll need assurances now though...

Arguably it can't be them as:

- they're also doing tramlines which is going ahead
- they're only playing UK dates all the way until August, it looks like their plan is to travel here, quarantine and then do the string of only UK summer dates

Disappointing, but if that's the biggest hit we'd take then so be it. Just need to know one way or another now.

Big pig too which I know they aren't as big, they are an extra act to find. I'm quite positive so I'm looking at it as all the evidence is adding up. Hopefully we get an announcement tomorrow now. Will see soon enough.

With Standon going ahead I suddenly have a slight sense of optimism about this. Wonder who could swap in for DMAs if it goes ahead? Maybe The Kooks or Hot Chip?

James have a fair few festival dates(9 ir 10)in the UK, so will just come over and isolate before hand if needed.

To be fair DMA's could have done this too, but looks like they aren't. They had about the same number of dates too...

I believe he has been in the UK for a while holed up with the band rehearsing for the London opens up gig that didn't happen. He's certainly been on UK TV programmes over the last fortnight

With DMAs dropping out of tramlines for you think they would find a replacement of the same caliber? I’m unsure how it works with payment now they can’t travel. There’s a few acts knocking about id be happy with as replacements….but even if they don’t replace them and the festival goes ahead I won’t be too bothered as I’d do anything for some live music

Shocking PR from Y Not. 

I know some might argue they have got nothing to say, they never had anything to say in the last year. That didn't stop them posting on social media every 2 or 3 days during lock downs.
