SwedgeAntilles
🎶 You're making your lists, You're checking them twice, Are you voting for Taylor, Once or twice? 🎶 Yes, it's once again the most wonderful time of the year, the nightmare before Christmas, the Listing Season. Once again I'll be your Father Listmas and will be compiling our favourite albums and tracks of 2020 then presenting back the definitive eFestivals Glastonbury Forum Top Tens before you've begun opening your presents. As with all organised fun the best part is the rules, and they are as follows; To avoid creating multiple threads you can post both your albums and tracks of the year here. However if you prefer to post only your albums or tracks, that's fine. All votes will be counted irrespective. Please list both Artist/Band name and Track/Album name, template below (makes it much easier for the C&P to excel) Listing your track/album as #1 pick will give it 10 points, your number #2 pick receives 9 points, #3 receives 8 points etc. etc. The ten tracks/albums with the most overall points will be our top tens for this year. In a departure from previous years 'In No Particular Order' lists can be included, however each song/album will receive a maximum of 1 point and lists of any more than ten tracks or albums will be discounted. You're allowed to list more then ten tracks/albums, but only your top ten will be considered. Deadline for submissions will be 6pm GMT on Monday 21st December and I'll aim to post the results on or before Christmas Eve. And that's it! I'll give this thread a bump every few days to keep in active in amongst the numerous covid threads so take your time and have fun! FloorFiller
Man I’m usually on my game with this but I’ve barely given it a thought this year. Need to get on it. By the way, rhyming twice with twice...
Hugh Jass
I’ve listened to barely anything this year due to kids, work, lockdown and lack of commuting meaning I have barely any time to just sit with my headphones in. My list will probably just be the ten albums I’ve actually listened to this year. Feel like this guy right now...

mcshed
Rule check! Bonnie "Prince" Billy's I Made a Place was physically released last November but was only added to streaming services January 31st this year and I'm the sort of cool young person(36 is still young right?) who streams all their music so does it count for this year? Given streaming services tend to be the first point of call for most of us for new music, I'll allow it.

Guest
Gonna be the first prick who doesn't order theirs this year. Really hasn't been any particular album that stands out to me as my favourite, these are just the 10 I've probably listened to and enjoyed the most. jparx
Might be a struggle this for me. I've largely slipped back in to comfort music this year. Can only muster up 8 records - all of which I thought were excellent tbf. 9th could be Tame Impala, but it was definitely a let down and I don't want to give them 9th just because I can't think of anything else! No apologies for repeat entries from Taylor and Phoebe; I thought they (and HAIM) were miles ahead of the rest this year IMO. Albums 1. Taylor Swift – Folklore 2. Phoebe Bridgers – Punisher 3. HAIM – Women in Music Pt. 3 4. Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia 5. Soccer Mommy – Color Theory 6. RTJ – RTJ4 7. Fontaines DC - A Hero’s Death 8. Charli XCX – How I’m Feeling Now Songs 1. Taylor Swift – Exile 2. Florence + The Machine – Light of Love 3. Phoebe Bridgers – Kyoto 4. Phoebe Bridgers – This is the End 5. Taylor Swift - August 6. Christine and the Queens – Mountains 7. HAIM – The Steps 8. Bruce Springsteen – Letter to You 9. Soccer Mommy – Circle the Drain 10. Dua Lipa - Physical
