The Weeknd thing apparently has something to do with his Super Bowl performance - they didn’t want duplicate performances at both events and eventually failed to come to an agreement or something. Pretty weird and salty behaviour from the Grammy people, but also, who gives a shit? I’m sure he’ll do just fine without them.

I’m totally shocked at the no noms. I thought he was set to sweep it.

After Hours felt like a surprise AOTY win for me. It’s going to be folklore innit.

I think Blinding Lights is magical and thought that I was perhaps finally going to get into The Weeknd's stuff but the album was just ok.

That song should have got a nomination and subsequent award however.

One, is an athlete risking his career to make a stand against police brutality, the other is a pop star throwing his toys out of the pram because he didn't get a prize. Fuck him.
