Some stuff I like earlier in the day:

PVA (saw them live at a sit down gig just before restrictions were eased and can't wait to see them in a big crowd)

Aoife Nessa Francis, Lounge Society, Wu-Lu, Fenne Lilly, Home Counties, Peaness, Emma Jean Thackray, King Hannah.

No idea how accurate this is but worth a look

It's not accurate - I just placed the artists in the correct running order based on previous years' stage times. It'll be good to go once we get proper times from the Settlers, but it'll be ballpark about right.

Far Out on Thurs looks pretty good. How rammed does it get on the Thurs? I assume it gets pretty busy with not much else on that day?

Haven't been since 2014, when it was RAMMO! Not sure they had a full evening line-up in the Walled Garden then. I get the feeling that there is 'more' scattered across the site on the Thursday evening now. That, and many people coming to their first 'event' post-all that nonsense, might mean slightly fewer people cramming into Far Out...

Last year was the first year they did music in the walled garden and it definitely thinned the crowd out in far out a fair bit. The only time I've seen it properly busy on Thursday was public service broadcasting in 2018 though

Line up additions announced.

Ghostpoet - really made up for that. Going to be one of my must sees.

Our Thursday night headliner will now be the mesmerising Tirzah, bringing her dream-like soundscape to our Far Out tent, plus Ibibio Sound Machine, Ghostpoet, Nubiyan Twist, Dream Wife, Lynks, Faux Real, Honeyglaze, Shovel Dance Collective, Craft Punk, Gaz Mayall, Mikey Snooze, Umoja Collective and 2021 Green Man Rising winners Teddy Hunter will all joining the GM21 line-up!

Email just through with some pretty big changes to the line up (looks like COVID has boshed a few). Tirzah now Thurs headliner (no idea who that is!)

Dropping out:

- Little Dragon, Viagra Boys, Puma Blue, Marisa Anderson, Maytals Band

This amount of too-ing and fro-ing of the line up so close to festival opening (plus the super condensed set up of the site) means they must really be working hard. As a first timer I won't have much to compare to but interested to know if they will have to cut back on certain stuff?

I know the hot tubs have been canned (although doesn't look like a Green Man reason). Anyone heard of anything else?

Gutted about Viagra Boys. That's a real gut punch.

Not particularly excited by any of the additions, as I've generally seen them recently or they're not not my thing. Will have to check out Tirzah as they're new to me.

Real shame about Viagra Boys. Aren't Little Dragon Swedish too? Might be some more changes due to watch lists, etc.
