I may be being overly optimistic, but I'd be astonished if they didn't go ahead now. I HOPE they've got some idea what the Welsh gov are going to do. Even if they haven't, leaving festival goers in the lurch this late in the day would be a little surprising. There are a few other festivals/holiday plans we could've all made, and have potentially missed out on. Again, I HOPE this factored into their thinking. It seems like, judging by this article, the best we can hope for from their announcement is the penciling-in of early August for the move to 'level zero', and wait until the next review (9th August?) for confirmation. If they've given GM some form of insurance or safety net, or announce any specific guideline changes about large outdoors events, I imagine we can expect to hear from GM very soon! If not, GM may have to make some tough calls. Most of the things they've done would just be on the assumption that they're carrying on as normal for now and making sure everything essential is good to go. However, the updating of their Spotify playlist (great spot by someone further up) name to GM2021 is giving me hope as there's no necessary or logistical reason for them to do that at this point unless they're about to add a load of new songs to it. It might not be full on "do whatever you want" lunacy, but does the way GM are behaving suggest they know it'll be enough for them to go ahead?
