Reading the question the way you worded makes me think Gazza is going to gigs just for the one song he knows and then puts up with the rest of set. You're watching your favourite band, given their usual setlist, if you really have to, when do you go for a piss? Only rules are you can't choose a drum/guitar/other solo, you can't just say "during the new song" or during pre encore break. I'll go with: Rolling Stones - Miss You I think it’s a pretty good question... Blur - Sunday Sunday Oasis - Shakermaker RHCP - I’d just stay in the longdrop. mcshed
Tom Waits - Falling Down I mean I'd probably piss myself rather than miss a second given how rarely he tours but I didn't understand why Falling Down made it to so many of the Glitter and Doom dates when he has such an extensive back catalogue of frankly better offerings. Hugh Jass
The Foos are an easy one. Just wait until the song you like has finished and go during the extended outro and pissing about. Think I managed to relieve myself, go the Cider Bus, order a burrito and catch a little bit of The Jacksons during the ending to Monkey Wrench.
CaledonianGonzo
When I see Patti Smith I just watch the show normally, until she plays Piss Factory when I go off like a sprinkler.
jump
Start Wearing Purple by Gogol Bordello, I know it's a great sing along song and probably their most popular one but I never liked it that much. Plus as everyone loves that one it means the bar is clear.

Padjeq
I don't understand the original question but I will say I decided against getting Depeche Mode tickets after having a nose at their hit-lite setlists.

Quark
In response to @thewayiam's original question now we've figured out what Gazza meant Levellers (obviously ) Dub Pistols Foo Fighters 3 bands I have seen at least a few times, and I know I'll have a blast every time with really few songs I'm going to find a bit of a dip in the fun. And @Gnomicide's question. Again, it's obviously Levs I'm watching. Assuming that I'm not allowed to just piss myself where I stand (insert tired gag about average Levellers gig attendees here) it'd either be This Garden or Hope Street. But I don't think I have ever had to abandon a set by any band midway through for a piss. That's just poor planning.
henry bear
It happened to me during Led Zeppelin’s O2 show. Slightly overdid the beers and had a difficult choice to make. Opted for JPJ’s keyboard solo during No Quarter for a comfort break.

I don't even think about it any more if I think the band's only around halfway through I go as soon as possible and get it out of the way. Calvin Klein
I went for a piss during the jam in Midnight Rambler. I know it was probably sacrilege, but I couldn't hold it any longer.
hfuhruhurr
Dilemma when you're 10 mins from the end of the set, you know there's no hope between main set and encore and not a hope after the gig. And, you're busting.

Hugh Jass
Had a nightmare at the end of Arcade Fire’s set. Really needed to go but didn’t want to miss Wake Up, annoyingly the set was a song longer than I anticipated and when they started their second last song I decided enough was enough and made a dash for the urinals. Came out of them just as Wake Up was starting and they turned all the lights on which completely disoriented me and spent the entire song wandering around trying to find Mrs J. Should have just wet myself.

I don’t know how many containers they filled. Luckily I wasn’t there.
Chawk
For me, it's definitely worth going for a piss sooner rather than later. Otherwise you spend like 20 mins standing there thinking 'should i go? is now the time to leave? now?' i've only been in the vicinity of a crowd pisser once. it was in a fkin tent at latitude watching king creosote. the crowd just made a little circle around him.
