Album of the Month - January 2022

New year, new set of albums to enjoy. January is traditionally a slow month for releases, I've only got one album on my list, but I did love it...

Still figuring mine out, been a surprisingly strong January for me.  Got 6 all in the mix for my top 3.

I've hardly listened to any in January. We decided to cancel some of our tv services as we don't really watch much tv so obviously spent January binge watching as much as possible before they were gone 😄

Been a slow month for me, only really had Bonobo on repeat.

Look forward to doing this on a monthly basis and because of not many releases in December it feels like I’ve been an age. Not a bad month for me really enjoyed the new Spector record, fantastic stuff and as I didn’t have much to listen too I had a run through ex Maccabees solo project and it was a good listen.

This has reminded me I've listened to very little new music this month, despite having Spotify more or less constantly on (no Neil Young). 

Fragments by Bonobo will be on my list, and Motordrome by MØ probably will be.

I really liked the Maccabees and was unaware of this. Will need to check it out.

I'm the same as Hugh Jass in that Yard Act is the only new album I've got into this month and was reading the thread for listening suggestions rather than to vote so glad I read your post.
