Hot Chip at Dreamland Margate was pretty epic last night. Good energy, amazing lighting and sound. Really didn’t disappoint. It was so good to be back at a live gig!  Did anyone watch the stream?

It's far from normal out there and obviously still a very precarious time, especially for small venues. This article yesterday suggests that it's unfeasible for most to hold any events any time soon,

Surprised at the amount of efesters in our tiny audience! Are you guys local or did you travel down for it?

We travelled for it! It was quite the trip back to London since the last train was at 22:03 so we missed it - but so worth it!!

I appreciate places like The Windmill have been letting in 30 people (from more than two households) though, so will that have to change to 6, or is there no change as those people are not deemed to be socialising with others outside of who they came with? I mean we all know it's not true and can't be in a pub, even if you try to keep somewhat apart, but presumably that's the letter of the law.

It doesn't apply to businesses, it just applies to social groups. So you can only be in a group of six even in a pub with loads more groups in it. The pub can have however many people it can have at a safe social distance (or get away with).

Yeah that was my mate in the glitter jacket.I'm the guy with the big hair😉

Nicely done with the tickets! Who did you go for?

I looked at Barbican membership, but it didn't seem worth it for £59 with the uncertainty over how much they can put on over the winter. Will be trying for Richad Dawson, Erlend Cooper, The Divine Comedy and maybe Emmy The Great and Shabaka Hutchings tomorrow on general.
