Why do you think it will be Liverpool? Can not see it being either of liverpool or united.

Mainly through deduction.

Spurs need it to pay for his stadium, and are pretty much a tinpot club who are lucky to have been invited. Same to Arsenal really, their time at the top is a long way away in the current set up. Chelsea and City are mercenary clubs with no real history or heritage to tarnish.

Glazers have overseen protests in the past and have remained unflustered, and can’t see them being bothered at all by the outcry. So that leaves Liverpool.
But maybe none of them will crack and it will go ahead as planned.

Even if they pull out now the damage is done.

Spot on.

When they come back with there tail between there legs, they should give the power to the other 14. The big 6 is an interesting one though, Won't they need one of the 6 to vote against the other 5 to get any motion through?

Definitely wont be UTD: Glazer is on the board of the new ESL

Liverpool have louder and more passionate fans, and they are more likely to cave in.

Order of caving in IMO

Chelsea

Liverpool

City

Spurs

Arsenal

Utd

Glazers will certainly not budge.

What makes you think Chelsea give the slightest fuck what anyone else thinks? They've spent most of the last 20 years facing one backlash or another.

I think Roman does it for love of football and reputation compared to the others. I get the impression they arent as into concept as the others and would be fine with things as they are

Chelsea along with Man City also have massive financial backing. They don’t need the ESL to clear their debts.

Also worth noting all the time, money and effort that Mansour has put into improving the surrounding areas of the Etihad / Manchester in general. Would suggest that he does care about the community somewhat. Plus the fact he doesn’t need the money the ESL would generate.

Rumours going round that Chelsea and City weren't keen and are cracking a bit over the reaction. The damage is done, yes but in my opinion for the most part in life it is never too late to come out and hold your hands up. It won't happen though.

FSG might have backed down to fan protests before but I don't see how they recover their reputation from this so don't think they'd see the point in backing down. Not sure if they're one of the main driving forces but it's definitely something that they want.

Why do you talk such utter fucking bollocks? Can you not contribute to the thread in a sensible manner, rather than just being a bell end?
