Because Man United aren’t as good as they should be and he’s hilariously out of his depth for a club of their status and ambition?

Where should united have been? United finished 3rd last season, with the squad around where they should of been.

Not lost in the league away since January. Since his arrival only klopp and pep have got more points.

Out of his depth doesn't stack up to be honest.

With the wage bill they should be competing for the title. The discussion is then how much fault do you allocate to different people that they are not.

That's all down to a rubbish transfer policy for years. You can't really blame ole for signings like Pogba and the likes.

Have united got the 1st or 2nd best squad? Realistically no, 3rd or 4th best? Possibly.

It’s the piss poor recruitment policy that’s lead to OGS in the hot seat.

Well rather than than jose mate. Ole isn't perfect, certainly making a better fist of it than jose or LVG. 2 managers who certainly  were not out of there depth taking the job.

You really think Bruno Fernandes would of been signed with Jose at the helm?

Absolutely no doubting Jose needed to go, so there’s little need to bring him into the discussion.

As you know I don’t support United or any of their rivals so I’m an impartial observer. My view is that United are rotten from the top down, they spend similar money to the likes of City and Liverpool but with none of the intelligence or planning. They’re more interested in names, shirt sales and noodle partners than building a cohesive football team. They’ve become happy to go down the Arsenal route of doing just enough to stay in Europe and keep the cash flowing without actually worrying about sporting achievement.

Woodward is the chief culprit in all this, but the executives, coaching and playing staff are all culpable. Solksjaer gives the impression of someone who can’t believe he’s landed the job he has, and would never dare rock the boat. There’s a reason why the likes of Pochettinho are still on the market - no respectable manager would work for that shower.

It’s sad to see United like this.

That's probably why the fans don't want to criticise Ole as nothing will change if he's sacked. Liverpool could easily go the same way when Klopp goes, a spac has been set up for the purchase of fsg. Both clubs will probably be in the European super league by then, mid table and paying a reliable dividend for the shareholders from the sale of shirts in asia.

Don’t get the love in some quarters for Pochettino. There’s worse managers. There’s also better. Am not surprised the big boys are forming an orderly queue.

Which big boys have changed managers in the last 12 months? Juventus and Barca both went for ex players rather than recruiting on managerial achievement. Bayern promoted from within. I am not sure which big clubs he could have joined.

Pochettino needs to get back in the game, already 1 year with no sign of him getting a top job he craves.

Can't imagine any of the big clubs would go for him to be honest, certainly not his record. As you mentioned clubs are going for the emotional attachment of previous players.

Perhaps if any decent managers were available, one or more of the big boys might have been tempted to change...
