The great thing about the campaign to have players banned for the period they injure other players is that it would of saved injuries like Van Dijk because....

He'd still be banned from doing Deulofeu's ACL back in March:

Sooner they fuck off the better.

Yeah its the way its going better get on with it. Let the fans who want to watch their new franchised club Dubai Raiders or what ever they will end up as pay £50 PPV a match and everyone else can go watch matches in this country.

I imagine they are expecting English football to cave and give them whatever they want to stay.

The hilarious thing of course is that United would probably finish bottom of such a league.

No relegation for the founders for 20 years apparently. It would show the whole thing up as a joke if the 2nd bottom team or whatever kept going down for the first few years.

I'm sure that isn't accurate, not seen that in any of the reports.

Its in the sky one :

Quote

an earlier iteration of the current project was reported by German news outlets to have been drawn up almost exactly two years ago, and featured 11 'founder' teams with a number of 'guest' teams.

As part of that blueprint, the founder clubs could not be relegated for 20 years, although the remaining teams would be subject to being replaced depending upon their league position at the end of each season.

Seem to be based on the same idea a set of founders and then "guests" from the same country.

They’re not coming back here once they’re relegated.

The life of a modern football fan from England will be stood in the "other passports" queue for 8 hours every weekend. I'm sure they will love it!

What a sack of shit. For two clubs that supposedly hate each other the two seem pretty fucking cuddled up. Bet the other four clubs are licking their lips as well.

The likes of Chelsea and Arsenal are loving this because they’ll get all the benefits but aren’t being seen as the bad guys instigating it.

Media and fans will always look at Liverpool and united. Lets be honest the other 4 should be criticised as much as the big 2.

I reckon City are up to their necks in this one. By all accounts City are quite close to FIFA and Infantino. There were rumours a while back that City were more interested in FIFA'S world league plans than they were with UEFA'S plans.

Wonder if this will have UEFA backing?

Reports are suggesting that only 5 of the big 6 will be going into it. Which team is to miss out?

As I mentioned the other week, there’s a good few similarities with what Man U and Liverpool are trying here and the sworn enemies of the old firm up here. Greed coming to the fore.

We’ve had the Colt teams idea muted yet again as lower league clubs struggling without fans.

Leaving for pastures new while leaving behind colt teams that some fans might pay to watch would be a cash bonus for the big clubs at the expense of the smaller sides and is something Rangers and Celtic have wanted for a while. Perhaps we’ll get rid of them and they might try to join the epl (again) if other teams leave.
