10L box is new though, not everyone wants 20L 😉

Yep, 20 litres is a lot. Me and my mate bought a box to take to Bearded Theory last year, a load got spilt because the tap fell out the container and we still had loads left at the end of the weekend. Harder fellas could probably do better 😉

Yeah, I like my cider, but 20l in about a month is quite some drinking if you're not sharing it.

That's what i've been going through since lockdown 😬
Although I've been drinking Tricky cider.

Also 10L boxes are now back on sale after selling out earlier.

Ooh, that looks good.

I'm going to order from here later this week:

https://www.heckscider.com/product-category/three-litre-pouch/

I emailed them and you can ask for the pouch selections to be mixed in the notes when placing an order. So I'm going to get a mix of dry+medium and no bastard perry.

You're missing out on the Perry, it's really nice. Their Kingston Black and Glastonbury Gold (both medium) are lovely too. I wasn't keen on the Farmhouse medium.

I'm not a fan on perry.

Fair enough. It's nothing like the sickly sweet, indigestion inducing stuff they sell at a certain bar at the festival though. Apologies if i'm preaching to someone who knows their stuff but it's similar to the proper ciders Hecks sell but smoother with a more subtle flavour. Plus it's award winning!

Oh I know it's not Brother's :o  But there's just something about perry that I don't like.

You sound like you really live the high life at festivals mate.

How long does it keep for?

If you keep it somewhere out of direct sunlight and cool, boxes of cider like that normally last a few months. Once opened the last at least a month or so in the above conditions.

This is true....How doe sone make it spicy? Does anyone know what they use?

Is the dry cider they start with? Ten add what spice? Would be good to recreate it.

Google's your friend ;)
Not sure what mix they use at the Cider Bus though.

Aaaah I've been wondering this for a while...if you open a box are you supposed to drink it within a month?

EDIT: Just saw @Dukeicon's post. Now tempted to just go big...

20L is 35 pints. So just under 9 pints a week. Easy! 😂

Just keep it somewhere cool if you can :)

We took 20L of Old Rosie to Glasto last year. My idea, but my two friends were super keen. We got there and half a pint in they decided they didn't like it. Needless to say, I was sick pretty much the whole way on the train back to Glasgow.

9 pints a week sounds much more reasonable :)
