There’s no mention of Roger not playing either. But it can be assumed that Nick would be there seeing as he was the only constant of Pink Floyd and has remained on good terms with David Gilmour throughout.

Rick Wright had been a member of David Gilmour's backing band for his solo work whereas Nick Mason hadn't. It's not a given that Nick Mason would have been involved. Would he even have had time to rehearse sufficiently bearing in mind this was weeks before the festival? A guest appearance possibly thoughbut that doesn't make it a Pink Floyd show.

Probably not really an unsolved mystery but I'm not sure where else to ask.

It seems The Kinks were on the poster for 1993 but I can't find any mention of them playing. What happened?

Also, where's best place to find which acts actually played the festivals? For the early years especially, it seems there are slight differences depending on where I look

Why has The Growler never returned?!

He was priced out of that prime location.

a. eaten a Growler

b. also eaten other food from the festival?

The year U2 played there was a rumour of them doing a secret set later that night, a few weeks/ month before planned. Neil knew about it because I remember pleading like a child to tell me.

Actually maybe it was first year when they cancelled.

Any remember this..?

Did the Fall, Happy Mondays and James really get banned from playing again?

Did Depeche Mode really turn down the chance to headline because they did not think the rest of the line up was their thing.

Did the Stone Roses turn down the opportunity to play, as part of their comeback, due to the money not being worth getting out of bed for?

Having spoken to my DM source the reason that they don’t play Glastonbury is that it doesn’t pay enough.

Where is the Rabbit Hole? I know the vague location, but no one has ever been specific. Does it move?

Well who are you and where are you going said the caterpillar?

Since the very beginning of time the Rabbit Hole location has been a mystery for absolutely no reason at all. Mostly it is shown on the map and it has only once moved in 2019.

The secret bit is generally found attached to the non-secret bit, but behind a very very long queue. One of the secret bits contains Funkingham Palace which lists (most) of its acts on the lineup.

I feel the following video sums it all up quite well......

Having a flashback from that purple bit.

Sod working at a Bar on a Thursday near anything going on.

We had three queues of that length all shift at Williams Green.

(Obviously, I felt glad and privileged to be there really).

2011 there was a rumour that The Wombles were U2 in disguise.
